ED&F; Names Kelly Potts as Credit Officer for NDDF

BISMARCK, ND - The Department of Economic Development and Finance (ED&F;) recently named Kelly Potts as credit officer for the North Dakota Development Fund (NDDF).
A Linton native, Potts graduated fall 1998 from Minot State University with a degree in business management. She attended classes through Minot State's extension center in Bismarck while she worked full time as a teller and personal banker for BNC. After graduation, she was promoted to credit analyst.
In 1999, Potts moved to Lemmon, SD for one and one-half year where she worked for Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union as consumer loan officer and marketing director. She also was active on the Lemmon Economic Development board.
In November 2000, Potts began managing Western Financial in Mandan, a position she held for one-half year before accepting this position.
�I accepted this position because I recognized that the experience would be invaluable,� Potts said. �I think I will like learning about and working in the area of commercial lending.� As credit officer for the NDDF, Potts will perform analysis and put together loan packages, which she will present to the board for approval.
